Cherrybrook is a suburb of Sydney, NSW. It is located approximately 27kms north-west of Sydney's CBD in the Hornsby Shire. It is conveniently situated in the Hills District of Sydney. History Joseph Harrison and Mary Thompson, a married couple settled in this area in 1839 and built a small wood home and called it 'Cherrybrook.' They also planted orchards in their 65-hectare piece of land.
